You should be able to just do an update via the WordPress admin panel. It will replace all the plugin files with the new ones, including the changes to the way the comments load, which should be a bit faster.

I wonder whether commentluv is compatible with ID. You guys should really help out Andy adjusting his luv towards ID. JS-Kit has it, Disqus does not and as I heard it's quite hard to implement it for Disqus. You know what I mean – another + for ID against DQ.
