Comment Widgets Update + Addition!
After our last big release we got so much positive feedback that we’ve decided to update our widgets as well.
Today we’re happy to present you with a refreshed version of our three different Comment Widgets, and also a new one! We call the fourth spawn the Blog Stats Widget. It’s a slick, tiny appetizer mainly created for bragging. Have a peek at it to the right, then go ahead and install it!
The changes aren’t just visual, though. We’ve rewritten all of the widgets from the ground up to make them faster than ever before.
So if you haven’t already installed one of these great widgets check them out. They’re available on your blog widgets page as well as on your personal widgets page.

Thanks, I know it's free and you have to show who made this great widget but that is a little big for me. The previous icon was much cooler!
Sure, and we understand this, it will be removed with something more subtle in the next push we do. Thanks for telling us how you feel!
wow! this is great! is this applicable to blogspot?
Yes Julia, we support Blogger as well (blogspot)
What the ____k? My comments on other blogs widget is NOT working and instead of a little symbol link the widgets now have a thick grey bar running under it.? I will be looking for a new comment system provider/
Sorry about your problems. About the "thick grey bar", it's being removed as we speak.
The widget's own CSS are not picking up w/ my feed (1234), but if I put in the same JS script using Chris B (user above) feed (2178).
You can kind of see what I mean if you goto:
http://www.sixteenseven.com/comments2.php
compared to
http://www.sixteenseven.com/comments3.php
The absolutely only thing that is changed between those two pages is the 2178 & 1234 in the JS url.
Any hopes to translate Intense debate into Spanish? I can help if you need it 🙂
Sorry for the trouble. There was a small problem in the css. The first link had a cached version from before the problem and the second one did not. Should be fixed now.
Did you guys happen to add any sort of character limitation on the variables passed into the javascript file recently?
is this widget no longer available? i'd like this one and a "hot conversations" one with recent/active blog posts (in terms of commenting).
Every widget you made is an artwork! Btw i am waiting for the emotions and the flags in the future.
yeah, I'm hoping thats in the works too
yes, it's realy great
I've used this widget on my site
and I've created a module for all this widget in 1 module for Joomla 1.5.x
testing…
Thank you! It is a wonderful, useful post!
