  1. Intense Debate is one of the most advanced tool for bloggers and site owners. My blog is nothing special without ID , but with ID it looks awesome.I am really happy i am part of your great family.

  2. Geek News Central ( http://geeknewscentral.com ) and AustinCast ( http://austincast.com/sxsw ) are doing interviews at SXSW with attendees, panelists and trade show exhibitors. GNC has a series running on itunes now of CES 2008 interviews if you want to see a sample of what we do.

We'd like to interview if possible by phone or skype before SXSW and in person during SXSW. If this is agreeable to you please send us either your phone or skype id and a good time to call or skype you. If you have skype with video that would be perfect.

Interviewers are myself, Dina Knight and Cheryl Hill. My email is walhus@gmail.com and the cell phone number is 512.699.4000. My skype id is walhus

I hope you can do this!

    Thanks,

  3. Great move publishing the CSS class and IDs. I know there was a note in the profile tools setup that suggested that these may change in the future. Does this now mean that you have settled on these?

  4. I have noticed wordpress? comment plugins that show the OS and browser the commenter is using with nice little color icons. I think that would be cool if intense debate could add a script to do that.

  5. Yes, it would be very cool. I found this post looking for that.

  6. Is there any chance the javascript used to display the comment count only be based off the "idcomments_post_id" variable (the javascript used to display the actual comments would be helpful as well)? This would allow for much easier cross-site functionality.

  7. We have performed a cleanup, so the classes provided are pretty definite. However we still have that message there just because minor changes might still be possible.

  8. Can Anyone Help Me on Height or # of Comments Shown Per Page?
I love the intense debate blog product. But, really frustrated trying to figure out what I think, should be a simple answer. :S

Maybe this happening because I'm testing the addition of comments, with one username? But, the page goes on forever.

For the regular intense debate blogs (not the wordpress plugin), how do you control the number of comments shown on one page? I have this question out on the getsatisfaction forum. But, noticing that answers don't come quickly.

Even here, on this blog: I see a limited # of comments, which is great. But, I don't see a link for "older comments".

    Thanks in advance,
    Jen

  9. Well… For performance reasons, the number of comments shown on each page is not editable right now. On this page, there are actually only 9 comments (with this one), and so all of those are showed on a single page.

I hope this answers your question.

  10. Thanks Isaac! Yes, you answered my question, thank you very much. Wow, I can't say enough good about intensedebate. I just installed it on our site, and it's working out beautifully. We're a Ning powered site, and you wouldn't think this would be needed. But, quite a nice extra, indeed. The power and smoothness of the whole thing ROCKS! Thank you!
    Thanks to entire Team,
    Jen 🙂

  11. Hi guys,

Is it possible to get the original Intense Debate CSS (with values)?

I'm trying to work on RTL for my site, and it would be much easier (i.e. possible:)) if I know what to override from the original values (e.g. change margin: 0px 5px 0px 10px to margin: 0px 10px 0px 5px, or float:left to float:right)

    Thanks,

  12. Hey, I can send you links to the specific files that should be somewhat updated, but to not clutter here I'd rather do it over email. Please email support @ intensedebate.com and just refer to this comment, and I'll help you out.
