Microsoft Partner Network Installs IntenseDebate

[ From the WordPress Publisher Blog ]

We’re excited to see that Microsoft installed IntenseDebate on the Microsoft Partner Network to power comments and develop their community.

They’ve used our Generic Install process to add our JavaScript directly to their template, and have a unique (and pretty cool) configuration: all posts and comments are mirrored on http://digitalwpc.com.  So if you comment on a post at microsoftpartnernetwork.com, it will also be posted at digitalwpc.com.

  4. ID is two snippets of JavaScript (and PHP on the backend) so add that to the mix as well.

  5. Hi,

So how can I do what MS did to reflect ID comments on my site on another site so that search engines can easily pick up this valuable content? As I understand it, without doing the latter, all ID comments on my site will not reflect in SEs

  6. Sorry for the delay. What blog platform are you using? IntenseDebate is written in JavaScript and JS is not indexed by SE's. However our WordPress plugin syncs comments back to your WordPress comment section so they're still indexed. Unfortunately we don't currently offer this for other blog platforms. Sorry for the inconvenience.
